My parents have the Sonos Beam, and I can honestly say the sound is impressive. They pair theirs with smaller Sonos speakers for a full surround setup, and we use it for everything from listening to music to hooking it up for movies on their TV. (My mom even swears it's better sound than Bose or JBL.)
The newish (released in 2024) Arc Ultra takes that experience a bit further. It uses Sound Motion technology, which is what allows Sonos to double the bass output while keeping the bar slim, and delivers a 9.1.4 spatial audio experience with Dolby Atmos to make it feel like sound is coming from every inch of the room.
