The grounding practice of going to the damn movies instead of waiting for streaming is one that we probably all wish we partook in more often. If only movie tickets weren't annoyingly expensive nowadays — but, listen, they're not annoyingly expensive at AMC Theaters on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They're actually 50% off.

AMC has recently expanded its half-off ticket deal days to both Tuesdays ("Discount Tuesdays") and Wednesdays ("50% off Wednesdays"). Specifically, the discount applies to base prices of adult evening tickets, and you can snag 10 tickets per show date. All tiers of the AMC Stubs membership have access, including the free one.

The promo kicked off on July 8 and seems to be an ongoing deal with no end date, as AMC hopes that this new pricing initiative will be "almost universally available at all AMC Theatres in the United States going forward."

These discounted AMC tickets are coming at the perfect time — the remaining summer movie schedule and upcoming docket for fall goes so incredibly hard. Still left for July and August alone we have mega titles like Fantastic Four: First Steps, Together, Happy Gilmore 2, Weapons, and Freakier Friday. Don't get us started on the list of bangers slated for fall and winter.

AMC is also throwing in cheaper snacks during your discounted Tuesday or Wednesday movie: Get 50% off the regular price of a small combo featuring popcorn and a 20-ounce fountain drink or 21-ounce ICEE.
