SAVE $140: If you're looking for something more compact than a bike for getting around town, the Hiboy S2-W Pro Electric Scooter can get you where you need to go. It's on sale at Walmart as of March 21 for $559.99 — it's typically $699.99, so you'll be saving 20%.

Just when you think gas prices couldn't get any higher, you're proven wrong at the station. As demand for electric vehicles skyrockets and manufacturers respond in kind, it can be difficult to decide whether or not to make the switch. You might want to ditch gas and save a record-breaking $4.331 per gallon, but also aren't sure how much juice you'll get out of a battery-powered vehicle, or if you'll get any decent power.

An e-scooter is a great way to dip your toe into the electric vehicle world without fully committing. Plus, it's fun. If you ever scoot-scooted around the block as a kid, you'll know. And while automotive and specialty brands are dropping $4,000 models, you can get less unnecessarily fancy scooters for much less.

The Hiboy S2-W Pro Electric Scooter is optimized for commuting with an optional seat for when you don't want to stand the whole way, a double braking system for extra safety, and a foldable design that makes it super portable (it does weigh 36 pounds though). And if you'd rather park it somewhere discreet instead of taking it with you, the Hiboy app will let you lock your scooter, as well as customize things like acceleration and braking according to your preferences.

It runs 25 miles on a single charge, so if your commute is within that distance, you're all set. Did we mention the shock-absorbent tires? The Hiboy S2-W Pro is on sale at Walmart for $559.99. That's like 130 gallons of gas at current prices, or a little over 10 refills of an average tank.
